How we work
Clear steps, careful changes and plain-language reporting. Here is what working with PawPixel looks like, from the first call onward.
Getting started
Four steps from first conversation to work under way. Nothing starts until you've seen the plan and the fee in writing.
Strategy call
A conversation about your brand, products, margins, goals and what you've already tried. We look at your listings beforehand, so the time is useful.
Plan and quote
A written plan with the scope, priorities, deliverables and fee. You decide whether to go ahead.
Onboarding
You grant access through the platform's official user permissions. We confirm targets and margins and record a baseline, so progress is measured from day one.
Run, measure, report
We do the work, track results against the baseline and report in plain language: what changed, why, and what comes next.
How we decide what to change
The rules behind every recommendation we make and every change we ship.
Data before opinions
Every recommendation starts from your own reports: search terms, business reports, Brand Analytics and returns. Not from a template.
Margins before metrics
Targets come from what each product can afford after fees and cost. A good-looking ACoS on a product that loses money is not a win.
Verify before we cut
When something looks wrong, we check whether it's an intentional test or a recent launch before we change it.
Reversible by default
Changes go in step by step, each one logged with a way back, so nothing breaks what is already working.
Product and pet at the center
Our creative is product-led and pet-led. We design around what the product does for the animal and the owner.
Plain language
Reports explain what happened and why in words a busy founder can read in five minutes.
How we protect your accounts and data
Your seller account is the business. We treat access to it accordingly, in line with the marketplaces' own data protection rules.
Read our Privacy Policy- No shared passwords. We work through the user permissions that Amazon, Walmart, Shopify and TikTok provide.
- Only the access the work needs, and each team member only sees the accounts they work on.
- Individual logins with two-step verification, never shared or generic accounts.
- Access reviewed regularly, and removed promptly when someone's role changes.
- Your customers' personal information isn't needed for our work. We don't copy, export or store it.
- Reports and files kept in secure, access-controlled storage and sent over encrypted connections.
- When an engagement ends, you remove our access and we delete your account data within 30 days.
- If we ever suspect a security problem affecting your data, we tell you promptly and, where required, the marketplace concerned.
Communication and reporting
A direct point of contact
Someone who knows your account and answers your questions without a handoff.
Regular written updates
On a schedule agreed at kickoff: what we did, what we found and what needs a decision from you.
A change log
Every change recorded with the date and the reason, so you always know who did what and why.
AI, used responsibly
We use AI tools to speed up research, analysis and first drafts. People make the decisions, check the work and are accountable for every change. We don't put your customers' personal information into AI tools.
What we don't do
Clear boundaries save everyone time. If you need any of these, we'll tell you on the first call.
- Photography and video production. We design with your photos and renders.
- Human models in our creative. Our work is product-led and pet-led.
- Incentivized or fake reviews, or anything else that breaks marketplace policies.
- Guaranteed rankings or guaranteed sales figures. Marketplaces control the auctions and the rankings.
- Sharing your data, results or plans with other clients.
